Building on the outstanding success of the 2009 conference, the Canadian Obesity Network (CON-RCO) will host the 2nd National Obesity Summit, Canada’s only scientific conference dedicated entirely to obesity prevention and treatment.

The Summit will highlight innovative research on the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity and its impact on the day-to-day lives of Canadians. Delegates will explore:

Location
The 2nd National Obesity Summit will begin on Thursday, April 28 and continue through Saturday, May 1, 2011 at the Sheraton Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

In 2011 we expect a larger audience of over 1000 attendees from across Canada including health care professionals, government policy workers, leading researchers and academics, and many others with an interest in the causes, prevention and treatment of obesity in Canada.
